Our Model for Ministry: 

At a “City on a Hill Church”- we’re strong advocates for the “Priesthood of all Believers.” In other words, we believe God has gifted and equipped every Jesus follower with a gift or gifts to be used in the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom. I Pt.4:10 says: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” Of course, the New Testament also makes it clear that God has established the office of Pastor to help encourage and challenge the saints to use their gift(s). As stated in Eph.4:10-13 “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

After over 40 years of ministry in three different churches, Gary stepped back from an “unsustainable pace” in 2021.  Since that time God has opened a door for Gary to continue to use his gift of preaching/teaching in a part-time, Sunday morning only format. Gary has been married to his ministry partner Kay for over 48 years, they have three grown children and eight adorable, phenomenal grand-children. In his spare time Gary enjoys working out at the Y, and of course closely following the Detroit Tigers.

Jerroll Lehman
​Worship Pastor

Jerroll is a 35+ year veteran of the music recording industry, and for most of that time has also served as a part-time worship pastor or lay worship leader in churches throughout the area.  He oversees the worship and technical ministries of the church. His approach to worship ministry is rooted in the truth of scripture, actualized in daily living, and boldly proclaimed in the assembly of the saints.  His desire is to encourage the church— the precious bride of Christ—  into a life of authentic, passionate worship of our awesome God.  Jerroll and his wife Janis live in Fort Wayne, Indiana and have three adult children and seven grandchildren.
